500 kW solar PV system completed

One of the latest and most impressive examples of the spread of renewable energy is the Tantusz Invest Zrt.  a recent project to implement a 500 kW ground-mounted solar PV system. This project is a major milestone, as it plays a key role not only in increasing energy efficiency but also in achieving sustainability goals. During the full-scale, generic implementation of the system, a number of challenges were overcome which contributed to the successful completion of the project.

The first step of the project was a precise and careful design, during which our engineers prepared detailed plans for the solar power plant, taking into account the specificities of the site and energy efficiency requirements. The design took into account the annual solar radiation data and the topography of the site to ensure that the system would operate as efficiently as possible.

The next step was the procurement of materials, where we selected world-class solar panels and mounting brackets. By choosing quality materials, we ensured not only the performance of the system, but also its long-term reliability. Our aim was to ensure that all components met the highest European standards.

The construction process started with the installation of the support structures, which ensure the stable anchoring and optimum tilt angle of the solar panels. During the mounting of the support structures, great care was taken to ensure that the substructures were properly positioned and secured to withstand weather and wind forces.

The next phase was the installation of the solar panels. The power generating units were carefully installed according to a pre-defined plan to maximise the use of the sun's energy. The solar panels are made of top quality materials, which guarantee long life and high efficiency.

Particular attention has been paid to the design of the DC and AC side connections. Correct and safe connections have minimised energy losses and maximised the energy dissipated by the system. The inverters were installed using state-of-the-art equipment to convert DC to AC, enabling the system to be connected to the grid.

In the final phase of the project, the system was commissioned and detailed tests were carried out. During commissioning, we verified that all components worked as expected and ensured the integrity of the system.

We can also use measurements and Artificial Intelligence to calculate the "fate" of the energy generated, i.e. how much the plant can use and how much it cannot (e.g. due to shutdowns, holidays, etc.). With our calculations we can jointly prepare projects to maximise the use of the energy produced.

This project is not just about Tantusz Invest Zrt.  has been an important learning and development opportunity for us, but has also contributed to strengthening our commitment to renewable energy. We are proud to be part of building a sustainable future and to have contributed to the promotion of renewable energy in our country through this project. As a result of the successful implementation, the completed solar PV system represents a significant step towards cleaner, more sustainable energy use, not only for our company but also for the wider community.
